Reevees Nexus

From an imported modular kit to a reviewable profile, inspection objects and current reports. Level building remains your work.

Nexus workflowInspect the kit. Keep control of the build.

A clear overview of the workflow customers use inside Unity.

  1. Import a pack

Use the pack's required render pipeline and packages. Select its root inside Assets.

  2. Run Intake

Scan prefabs and optional demo scenes. Create a Nexus profile and JSON. Choose optional carryover, audit and reports.

  3. Review & correct

Inspect categories, geometry and review reasons. Save corrections and rebuild families.

  4. Inspect & compare

View representative pieces and snap markers. Compare two instances; apply only supported, valid alignments.

  5. Export & build

Export current reports. Use the findings for your own level work in Unity.

The output: a reviewable kit profile, inspection objects and report snapshots. Not a finished building or a guarantee that every inferred fit is correct.

What Nexus actually produces

Nexus helps inspect and structure a kit. It records inferred relationships and highlights cases for human review; it does not assemble a finished level or certify every fit.

InputAn imported pack with the render pipeline and dependencies required by its creator.
AnalysisA local first pass over categories, geometry, families, grids and semantic snap candidates.
ReviewHuman corrections, supported pair checks and an inspection row of representative pieces.
OutputA Nexus profile, JSON and exported report snapshots to inform your own level work.
Why Nexus

Less kit archaeology. More actual building.

Nexus automates repetitive inspection work around unfamiliar modular packs without replacing creative level design.

01

Understand the pack

Scan prefabs, categories, families, geometry, pivots and grid behavior instead of opening every asset manually.

02

Review only what matters

Confidence, reasons and a dedicated Review Queue focus attention on uncertain cases instead of flooding the user with every prefab.

03

Check relationships

Semantic snaps, family calibration and pair compatibility help reveal how modular pieces are likely to work together.

Guided inside Unity

One starting point, six guided steps

Everything starts at Tools › Reevees Nexus › Start Here – Kit Intake Wizard. A “Step x of 6” line with a Next-step button follows you through Intake, Review and Batch Audit.

01 Analyze the kitPoint the wizard at the pack's root folder. Source prefabs are not modified.
02 Fix errorsBlocking findings come first, each with “Why” and “What to do”.
03 Save + rebuildCorrections are kept and applied to families and the profile.
04 Confirm or correctDecide only the uncertain assets in the Review Queue.
05 Check warningsReview remaining warnings before relying on the profile.
06 Use the profilePreview assembly, pair compatibility checks and exported reports.
READYNo blocking findings – the profile can be used.
REVIEW REQUIREDSome assets need your decision, or warnings should be checked.
BLOCKEDErrors must be fixed first. Nexus does not guess.
Where the time goes

Replace repetitive inspection, not creative work.

Nexus is aimed at the manual steps that make unfamiliar asset packs slow to adopt.

Without Nexus

  • Open and inspect prefabs one by one
  • Work out wall / floor / door / window roles manually
  • Measure pivots, bounds and likely grid behavior
  • Study demo scenes for placement patterns
  • Compare modular pieces by hand
  • Write down findings and problem cases yourself

With Nexus

  • Scan the kit and build a persistent profile
  • Let semantic/technical analysis perform the first pass
  • Use confidence and reasons to focus review
  • Inspect family, grid, snap and scene evidence together
  • Evaluate pair compatibility and supported alignment
  • Export audit/report data instead of documenting it manually
Illustrative workload model: inspecting 100 prefabs for only 2 minutes each would already mean 3 hours 20 minutes of repetitive first-pass work. Nexus automates much of that first pass and routes uncertain cases to targeted review.
This is an illustrative arithmetic example, not a measured performance benchmark or a guaranteed time-saving percentage. Actual savings depend on pack size, structure and review needs.
